When we were in the process of selling our home in Stoneybrook we had it narrowed down to two agents and met with both of them. We met with Mac first and were impressed with his knowledge of our home. He knew more about it than we did. Mac had a personal touch, gave good advice on things to help our home sell quicker, and knew our neighborhood better than anyone that we’d met. We ultimately decided to have him as our listing agent and were so happy that we did. Our home was on the market for only five days before receiving an offer. The price that we settled on was over 95% of the original asking and, at that time, was the highest a home in the neighborhood had sold for in more than 5 years. Mac was a dream to work with on the buyer’s requests as he had irrigation, HVAC, and contractor contacts that inspected and corrected all of the agreed upon items at a reasonable price and in very timely fashion. Looking back, the sale of our home in Stoneybrook was much quicker and easier than we’d anticipated and we were able to get a great price. We owe much of that to Mac and his team.

Mac was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. We met with a few Realtors about a year before we decided to sell and knew immediately that Mac was going to be the one to help us with our sale. In the year between our initial meeting and final agreement to list our house, Mac regularly sent us updates on sales of comparable homes and his opinion of the market. When we needed to sell the first home we moved to in Georgia, we wanted to make sure we had the right Realtor.  Our prior experiences having purchased and sold homes with other Realtors didn’t go as smoothly as we had hoped. Those Realtors were more interested in directing us to homes that they wanted to sell us, going after the first offer, making a quick sale, and when the deals went south, they didn’t go the extra mile to resolve them quickly.  We just didn’t want to go there again.  This time, we did our research, found the top Realtors in the area and began interviewing them – until we found Mac Scheidegger.   From the moment we met Mac, we knew he was the one that we wanted to work with.  He listened patiently to our needs, quickly mobilized to find homes in our desired areas, and was readily available by phone and in-person to meet/take us on visits.  Moreover, he addressed our numerous questions and concerns, especially during the negotiation and contractual process.  Mac is congenial, forthcoming,and objective, and knows the local real estate market very well.  We have greatly appreciated his advice and guidance.  So far, we have been extremely pleased with the three (3) homes we’ve purchased and sold with him.  It’s been over ten (10) years since we first worked with Mac, and it will definitely not be our last.
